Testing and editorial policy

How AIIconGenerator is tested and maintained

Last reviewed: 2026-07-30

The goal is to document what the current product actually does, make outputs inspectable, and keep platform guidance traceable to primary sources.

Functional check

Generate SVG variants, copy markup, export PNG locally, create a ZIP pack, and inspect the resulting files rather than relying only on UI labels.

Small-size review

Inspect the main silhouette at 16px, 32px, 64px, and a large preview. Thin strokes, text, weak alpha edges, and mask-sensitive details are flagged.

Platform source check

Use primary platform documentation for Apple, Android, and Web App Manifest guidance. Avoid presenting a convenience checklist as a substitute for release tooling.

Rights and privacy review

Reference-image palette extraction stays local. Users are reminded to avoid protected marks, characters, third-party artwork, and unlicensed source images.

Editorial consolidation

Substantially similar keyword pages are merged or redirected. A standalone page must provide a distinct workflow, data table, reviewed example library, or reference method.

Correction process

Material corrections update the page copy and the public last-updated date. Feedback can be sent through the contact page.
